Eberhard-Karls-Universitat Tubingen
The Washington College in Germany Program is a Tuition Only Exchange Program based at Eberhard-Karls-Universitat Tubingen (EKUT).
EKUT is located in Tubingen, which is in southern Germany near Stuttgart. The University was founded in 1477 and hold a distinguished place in the intellectual life in Germany. The University has 25,000 students living in a comparatively small city of 85,000. The University's academic reputation is based on the research achievements of many of its scholars. Campus facilities include some of the most advanced technical equipment and extensive library facilities. EKUT's character is marked by an awareness of tradition and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Faculty
Classes will be taught by EKUT faculty members. The exchange student advising is done by the International Relations Office.
Requirements
All well qualified rising sophomore and junior students are eligible to apply for the exchange program at EKUT. This program is open to students in all majors. Students should meet the following prerequisites:
- Solid preparation in the German language.
- Strong academic record.
- Evidence of good character, maturity, and motivation.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to a foreign environment.
The cost of international travel between the United States and Germany; local transportation while in Germany; housing costs; meals; book costs; student government fees; extracurricular activities; health insurance; expenses while at EKUT is not in session; and personal expenses are the responsibility of the student applicant unless other arrangements have been made.
Students should make an appointment to speak to the Director of Student Financial Aid to discuss the financial aspects of the program they plan to attend.
Living Arrangements
Students will be housed in dormitories, private rooms, or apartments. The Housing Office at Tubingen will assist in helping students find suitable accomodations.
Curriculum
Students will be able to take courses in the following disciplines: Biology, Business Adminstration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, and Psychology.

- Spring Semester: mid-April to mid-July
- One academic year
