Winter and/or Spring Semester in Siena

www.udel.edu/studyabroad

The Washington College in Siena Semester Program is a joint venture between Washington College and the University of Delaware based in the central Tuscany region of Italy.

Siena's narrow streets, quaint alleys, and famous town square are inviting avenues to distinctive views of Italian history, art, and folklore. Besides exploring museums and other attractions in Siena, you'll spend several days in the ancient capital city of Rome.

Shorter trips will further expose you to Italy's artistic, cultural, and historic treasures in places such as Naples, Pompeii, Assisi, Florence, Venice, and San Gimignano.

Faculty

Classes will be taught in Italian by instructors associated with The Universite per Stranieri di Siena. Student advising will be done by the Resident Director.

Class offerings during the Winter Session will include beginning Italian. Students wishing to attend the Spring Semester must have an intermediate proficiency in the Italian language and are therefore encouraged to attend the Winter Session as well.
